WHat we do

Dental Prosthesis

The dental implants are a modern dental technic which it gives to patient a complete masticatory function and a new smile.

Dental prostheses

Prostheses are used to partially or totally replace the original dentition, lost or compromised as a result of infections or trauma. Today there are two types of prostheses, removable and fixed prostheses.

There are two types of fixed prostheses

Prostheses on implants or prostheses on natural teeth. In the latter case, it is necessary to reduce the natural teeth, which will serve as a support for the prosthesis itself. Compared to the past, the new materials available make it possible to file natural teeth only minimally and to avoid devitalization if healthy. Fixed prostheses include dental crowns or so-called bridges. The fixed prosthetic devices are fixed directly to the teeth, totally covering the visible part by means of specific cements, therefore they are not removable. They restore functionality and oral aesthetics.

Removable dental prostheses

On the other hand, are teeth that the patient can practically remove and do their maintenance outside the mouth. Although it is an old technology, it is still used by a significant number of people today. It is generally applied to patients who have lost almost more than half of their teeth.

All on 8 prosthesis

This system recommends the placement of 8 dental implants for each dental arch, functioning as "anchors" for a fixed and non-removable dental bridge. The all-on-8 dental implant system is recommended in cases where patients have lost 80% of their natural teeth. In the first phase of All-on-8, dental implants are placed in the jawbone. A temporary prosthesis can be applied immediately. Finally, once the implants have healed, a permanent solution such as a dental bridge or a removable denture over denture can be applied. The procedure generally takes about 2-4 hours.

All on 6 dentures

The All-on-6 dental implant procedure creates a permanent denture using six dental implants. Six implants are placed in the lower or upper jawbone to permanently anchor the prosthetic teeth in place. The process ends in one day. It often ranges from 2 to 4 hours, depending on the patient.
